The above knee prosthesis from Rothschild’s begins with a hand cast of the residual limb by a method developed by our prosthetists. The socket is fabricated from lightweight plastic providing maximum comfort and flexibility. The selection of the prosthetic knee and foot are consistent with our effort to provide a lightweight comfortable prosthesis.
The three essentials of an ideal prosthesis: 1. Socket comfort, 2. As light as possible, consistent with durability and 3. Good alignment without the use of additional metal components.
